The Merrow MG-3DGE-7 sews a 5/32" stitch at high speed (5500 RPM). It is a single needle, three-thread machine built on Merrow's proprietary cam driven architecture, which makes the machine as durable as its stitch is resilient.
The MG-3DGE-7 sews a strong and secure overlock seam on netting at a rate of 4-40 stitches per inch (stand is 8 SPI). The standard width is 5/32", but this can be increased to 1/4". The stitch wraps the web completely and will not release under impact or when pulled and is wide enough for heavier nets like those used in athletic applications.
The MG-3DGE-7 sews a tight needle stitch using three threads and a unique presser wheel as part of the feed system. The presser wheel eliminates the hazard of catching in the spaces between the webbing, making the MG-3DGE-7 ideal for nets with loose spacing. The MG-3DGE-7 also provideds extra looper and needle throw which is essential when sewing heavier material.
The MG-3DGE-7 shines when seaming loosely spaced mesh and netting, such as lacrosse and hockey nets. The presser wheel will not catch between the webbing like a standard presser foot.
