Travel Converter features:
The converter takes the 220-240V current that comes from the outlet and reduces the current to 120V so that the higher current does not burn out the element of the 120 voltage Pink or Black Esteam units. It will NOT do the reverse. You cannot take a 230 voltage Esteam unit and use the converter to use in a 120 voltage power source outlet. The purpose of the converter is for traveler who uses the 120V Esteam in the states and also travels abroad where 230V power sources are.
